Crossword Privacy Statement

This statement details how we process and manage data submitted via our online crosswords.

In Brief

When you complete a crossword and submit your entry for review, it is sent to a relevant email address at the university. These emails are sent using a transactional email service called Postmark, which retains this data for a short period of time.

What does Postmark store? And for how long?

Postmark stores email content, events (e.g. delivery, click, open), and metadata for all messages for 45 days. After 45 days, Postmark deletes email content and related metadata for all delivered messages. Postmark stores aggregated statistics forever. This includes bounce and spam complaints.
